In this tutorial, I will show you how to add a new user in your WordPress website or blog. You might want to do this if you have someone else maintaining your blog or helping add new content. Maybe you have a partner or assistance that needs limited or full access to your WordPress blog.
First, log into your WordPress. On the left-hand column scroll down to click on Users and under the drop-down menu click on Add New.
You give him or her a username, first name, last name, e-mail, website, password and once you type in all of that information. You select their Role under the drop-down menu.
If you want someone to have full control over your blog as you do, select Administrator, if it is someone who is helping you to create posts or pages, you might want to select the Editor role.
You have the ability to select different roles for different type of people with differing permissions on your WordPress blog and website. Once you select your role click on Add User.
Then you’ll be able to give that person their login username and password to have access to your blog.
